My Name is Charlie Holt and i've been playing the Guitar for 17 Years. After studying Music through GCSE and A-Level, I went to the British & Irish Institute of Modern Music (London) to study Music Performance. During my time in London, I gained experience by playing gigs and spending time recording in the studio. After achieving a 2:1 in Music Performance, I've moved back up North to form a career as a Guitar Tutor.
I have recently been awarded Qualified Teacher Status with a PGCE in Secondary Music from Liverpool John Moores University. I have taught music from KS3 to KS5 during my teacher training.
I’m patient and I strive to see students progress with the guitar. Whether you're a beginner or have some background with the instrument, I can give you the necessary training and inspiration to excel towards your musical goals.

I've listened to a variety of genres. Therefore, I can educate students who are interested in playing a specific genre, or inspire them to explore different styles of music.
MUSIC THEORY
I can offer theory lessons to give students a fundamental understanding of how music works. I aim to apply these concepts to music that students can relate to for ease of learning.
GRADING
I have the Rockschool Grade 8 practical Certificate so I can give students training and advice to achieve the grades they want.
